ABOUT US

The Ohio State Irish Dance Team has been growing larger every year. We do not require auditions. As long as you have experience with Irish dance, we would love to have you on the team!

We perform in multiple events throughout the school year, including Taste of OSU, on-stage performances at BuckeyeThon, fundraisers, the University of Dayton Intercollegiate Feis, and the Villanova Intercollegiate Irish Dance Festival!

For performances, women wear black long-sleeve leotards and black tights. The skirts and sashes are shared and will be provided. Hair is typically worn half up, half down, or in a bun, so no wigs are necessary. Men wear black pants, black dress shirt, and a red tie. Hard shoes and soft shoes are not a necessity for practice, but will be needed for performances.
